Serving Up A Cure
We just want to thank the tennis committee for all of their hard work! and for the members that came out and worked a shift. I was a great weekend. T-shirts available for pick-up at the annual meeting and last minute raffle tickets may be purchased.
Also all raffle money collected to date needs to be turned in with raffle stubs at the beginning of the annual meeting!

Serving Up A Cure Chairs
Fall Event 2009
The Fall Event for 2009 will no longer be a “Fall” Event as we have moved the date to August; however, planning is underway, and the event is currently scheduled for Thursday, August 20th, 2009. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. This year’s event will be held at The Foundry, and the theme for the event will be “Celebrating Athens”.
We are currently in need of volunteers to help out in various aspects of the planning and preparation. If you are interested in volunteering to be on the committee, please email Rachel McCarthy at mccarthy.rachel@yahoo.com. We will be scheduling a meeting within the next week or so to meet with the committee and begin planning for a fantastic event.

Congratulations to Raegan Yeomans who will wed Jon Harvey on May 30, 2009 in Athens.
Member Tonia Gordon recently attended a “Gold Party” and wants everyone to know that they typically donate 1% to a non-profit and she was able to get her party’s host to designate the money to AACA. Keep this in mind as you attend or host these trendy events!
